Polished concrete flooring in an educational center
In 2020, we received an order to finish the concrete floor of the Environmental Education Center. The facility was constructed using natural materials that blend tradition with modernity. Given the location and design considerations, we chose polished concrete. Concrete is a material made of aggregates, cement, and water. Its durability and simplicity fit perfectly with the building’s design. Furthermore, all of the system products that we used to densify and polish the floor were aqueous solutions of mineral preparations. This means they are completely harmless to humans and the environment. In the sustainable building certification process, these materials are highly rated as low-emission.
