The Renovation Process – Step by Step
How do we give floors a second life?
At Probeton, the renovation process is a precise engineering operation divided into three stages:
Step 1: Surface Preparation and Concrete Grinding
We remove old coatings (resins, adhesives, PVC) using heavy-duty orbital grinders. Thanks to efficient dust extraction systems, we operate in a dust-free environment, which allows us to renovate the facility without interrupting its operations.
Step 2: Concrete Floor Repairs
We repair cracks, fix expansion joints, and fill holes left by shelving bolts. We use fast-setting hybrid materials that allow the floor to bear full loads almost immediately after application.
Step 3: Concrete Surface Refinement and Impregnation
We modify the surface structure of the concrete until the desired level of smoothness and gloss is achieved. The application of colloidal silica and hybrid lithium silicate compositions permanently strengthen and seal the concrete, protecting it against the penetration of liquids and oils.
