Workshops with mechanically polished concrete.

In 2020, we were commissioned to repair and finish the concrete floor in the newly built training workshop on EnBW’s innovation campus. Since the floor was poured before the installation and finishing work began, the concrete surface suffered extensive damage. The general contractor for the project approached us with a request to solve this problem. After the investor accepted the test area made of NORTEC^® polished concrete, we began the first phase of the finishing work.

The ongoing pandemic has restricted the free movement of workers within the European Union. The second phase of the concrete polishing work was also delayed. Our company completed the project in spring 2021. The nearly 1,600 square meters of NORTEC^® polished concrete not only perfectly match the industrial character of the building, but also EnBW’s overall strategy of achieving climate neutrality by 2035.
