In 2023, we completed a prestigious project in Świerklaniec, where we put the finishing touches on the floor in the new showroom Po Prostu Meble located at 10a Parkowa Street. This project was a unique challenge—it involved a thorough modernization and renovation of the old building formerly occupied by Agro-Sad, which had been in need of renovation for years.
Precision craftsmanship and a proven partnership
The project covered an impressive area of 2,200 m². The subfloor, consisting of a surface-hardened concrete slab, was prepared by our partner company Dima Posadzki from Katowice. This is yet another joint project of ours—we have previously collaborated with our colleagues in the field on projects such as the interior finishing of the Environmental Education Center in Goczałkowice.
Technology used
To achieve a perfectly smooth, durable, and attractive surface, we used an advanced finishing system:
- Wet grinding and polishing of concrete, which brought out the material’s depth.
- The use of colloidal silicas, which strengthened and consolidated the surface structure of the concrete.
- The surface is sealed with hybrid lithium silicate, ensuring high resistance to dirt and heavy use in a commercial facility.
More than just a store
The transformation of the building at the entrance to Świerklaniec from the direction of Piekary Śląskie has been recognized not only by customers but also by local authorities. The project has revitalized the aesthetics of the neighborhood surrounding the historic park, and the developer received the prestigious “Golden Grace of Business”.
We are proud that our technological solutions have become the foundation of this award-winning project, which combines modern industrial flair with a respect for local architecture.
