Replacement of joints for an automated goods storage system

Building new warehouses is becoming more expensive, yet the need for goods storage continues to grow. Consequently, building owners and operators are seeking new ways to optimize storage space. One such method is the AutoStore automated storage system. Adapting the floor for this system typically requires improving the surface’s flatness and removing potential obstacles for transport moving equipment. The latter issue was the subject of our contract with an international consortium of flooring companies in the United Kingdom. Our company dismantled over 100 meters of working expansion joints and repaired them using a standard method with reconstruction of the joints’ edges.
